You are basically replacing your family that you love so much with strangers that don't give a rats ass about you and that will turn you in for any wrong doing they see. This new family will encourage you to pull the plug on your own life when it comes to certain medical decisions while the REAL "wordly" family will do everything to support and save you!
That's the worse part of joining that most people don't realize at first.

Actually that procedure has been around for years. Just Google "Leg lengthening" Several people have done that here in the past. It's expensive and painful, the process is slow and about a year's time for 6 inches but a lot girls want to be tall like models and it works. I live near Mexico so they go across the border. They know their way around.

In my area, a lot of the young JWs, especially girls are getting breast implants, nose jobs, chin implants. Asian JWs girls get eyelid surgery, and one girl even got her legs lengthen 5 inches making her about five feet nine inches tall The male JWs are getting hair transplants and nose jobs. And nobody in the congregation says a word, including elders. Probably because some of their kids are getting plastic surgery. This actually started about 9 years ago slowly but now it’s like not a big deal because even the middle age and older JW men and women are going for it.
Why does the WT not say something about this? Isn’t it like a tattoo?

It is a shame that the OP slyly criticizes that sister for being true to her beliefs - but would likely criticize her had she not been so scrupulous.
You’re reading too much into the experience, I mentioned the reasons why she was true to her beliefs in a later post.
On the other side of the story, I feel for the young pioneer sister that was interested in this guy but had to follow what she had been taught. She is a born in and has a very strong love of God, even though she has no idea that what she was taught, was a messed up, twisted doctrine of God.

I don't know her age but there might have been a difference in maturity besides the difference in education and experience in life.
I mentioned in the above post that he was between 26-28, and she is going to be 30. They are adults and were in the same hall for about a year. At what point is it unreasonable for an almost 30 year old single woman who is interested in a man to decline going to dance, or a weekend trip with assurance there would be two rooms? Does she have to be 40-50 years of age and do they need to know each other for 10 or 20 years? I know several that have done that and are now in their 60s and still single.

On the other side of the story, I feel for the young pioneer sister that was interested in this guy but had to follow what she had been taught. She is a born in and has a very strong love of God, even though she has no idea that what she was taught, was a messed up, twisted doctrine of God.
I saw her grow up in the congregation, she was absolutely gorgeous.
I mean stunning.
This girl could have easily gone to Hollywood to pursue an acting career and she would have succeeded just by her looks. She is going to be 30 next year and has never been married. So after this young man left, she is back to square one hoping to serve in some place in the boonies where the need is great.
I hate seeing her grow old right before my eyes and there is nothing I can do about it. I remember around 10 years ago this girl came to hug me for something I did for her and I still remember seeing that her skin was flawless and glowing like ember. And her hair was as black and thick as raven feathers. She had the most beautiful blue crystal-clear shimmering eyes that would just bring any man to his knees begging for a small conversation with her- or at least a pad on the shoulder as a sign of her approval.
Now, last time I saw her she had a few grey hairs and it seemed to be thinning. Also I could see little signs of crow’s feet around her eyes that were starting to make an entrance into her life because of her pioneering in the sun every day. But to make it worse, she was convinced by the elders and the Circuit Overseer to decline her scholarship and start pioneering.
Seeing this is what make me believe that if there is a God, He doesn’t give a F*** about us.

If someone has a logical, reasoning mind it gets more and more difficult to accept what they try to shove down your throat day in and day out. And it's not just one little thing. It's EVERYTHING! The heap of crap just gets bigger and bigger.He thought it was ridiculous that the young pioneer sister (Who was interested in him) kept turning him down for silly reasons.
When he invited her out of town, He made sure she understood that he would pay for separate rooms. But she would kind of lose it and start gesturing frantically with her hands like if he had proposition her for sex and then she kept going on and on that it would be displeasing to Jehovah and bring reproach on the congregation.
He knew at that point that something was wrong with these people.

I hope you gave that young man this website address, as well as told him he was lucky to have escaped a highly-controlling CULT.
This man didn’t need any internet information on Jehovah’s witnesses, he came to the conclusion that they were just way off from normal human beings, just by observation. Which is actually a good thing.
The organization is now at a point where just by observing them, you can tell that they don’t fit the parameters of what is considered a normal human being.
The desire to only want menial part time work so you can pioneer, no aspirations to better yourself, vilifying education constantly, and excessive concern for Armageddon is enough for any reasonable thinking person to figure out sooner or later that these people are mentally on the low side of the bell curve for what is considered normal.
